General Care

Light

The Olive Tree thrives in abundant sunlight and loves to bask in the warmth of full sun exposure. Ensure it receives at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight daily to promote healthy growth and fruit production.

Water

While the Olive Tree is drought-tolerant once established, it requires regular watering during the growing season. Aim for well-draining soil and water deeply, allowing the top few inches to dry out between waterings. Be cautious not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot.

Humidity

Olive Trees are well-adapted to Mediterranean climates and can withstand a wide range of humidity levels. However, they generally prefer moderate humidity. If you live in an arid region, misting the leaves occasionally can help create a more favourable microclimate for your tree.

Soil

Plant your Olive Tree in well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH range (6.0-7.5). Incorporate organic matter like compost or well-rotted manure for a nutrient-rich soil mix. Avoid heavy clay soils that retain excessive moisture.
