Lee Gray is a seasoned landscape designer with over two decades of experience, bringing a passion for crafting unique, tailored outdoor spaces. Known for her commitment to quality, Lee's approach to landscape design is personalized, focusing on the specific needs and aesthetic preferences of her clients.
One of Lee’s standout projects took place on the outskirts of East Adelaide, Australia, where the homeowner sought a welcoming, tranquil front entrance. Lee delivered a modern yet harmonious garden, using plant combinations that aren't often seen together. Key elements include Chalk Sticks, Silver Wave, and Candelabra Cactus. The careful integration of these plants, along with subtle elevation shifts, creates a smooth transition from the street level to the home’s front door. Waterhousea and Miss Muffett add a touch of lush greenery, enhancing the entire scene.
Lee also designed an inviting interior courtyard, transforming it into an outdoor retreat for relaxation and reflection. Potted plants play a central role in creating soft garden spaces and texture without the need for traditional garden beds or large-scale construction. To complement the home’s design, porcelain tiles were selected, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor elements. In the garden beds, Lee chose plants that contrast in texture and form, such as the delicate foxtail fern, the striking Japanese Maple, and the cascading Dichondra.
