Create an Awesome-looking Three-pot Cluster
Are you looking to add natural beauty to your home or office with a cluster of plants and pots? Creating an awesome-looking and thriving plant and pot cluster may seem daunting, but it can be a breeze with the right tips and tools!
Choose plants with similar needs: When selecting plants for your cluster, it's important to choose ones with similar sunlight, water, and soil requirements. This will make it easier for you to care for them and ensure they all thrive together.
Vary plant heights and textures: To create an attractive visual display, choose plants with varying heights and textures. We suggest starting the cluster with your statement plant and pot and building it from there.

Consider color coordination: Another way to create an eye-catching display is to coordinate the colors of your plants. Choose plants with similar shades of green, or choose plants with complementary colors that will stand out against each other.
Use pots of different sizes and shapes: To add interest and dimension to your display, choose pots of different sizes. This is where Slugg® makes it easy for you. Each set of Sluggs includes three pots: small, medium, and large. The perfect recipe for a successful three-pot cluster!

Group the pots closely together: To create a cohesive cluster, group the pots closely together. If styling inside, we recommend using pot trays inside your Slugg® pots and keeping your plant in your nursery pot, so it's easy to take out and water. We have a drainage kit for planting outside and directly inside your pots. Check out our potting guide here.
Use appropriate potting soil: Some plants have specific soil requirements, so be sure to use a potting mix suitable for them. Also, ensure the pots have drainage holes to prevent water from pooling and causing root rot.
